Corporate Club Australia's golfing enthusiasts once again turned up in force to play at NSW Golf Club and enjoy a sensational day of competition and comradery.
In the spirit of competition and having a go, an impressive field of 82 players took on NSW Golf Club at its stunning best, as a result of the recent rain. Thankfully the weather conditions were tame in comparison to previous years and the field very much enjoyed the mild temperature and an uncharacteristic light breeze.
The day belonged to team Endeavour Energy, defending runners up from 2019 who did one better this year and won the teams event and trophy. Sky News made it a close contest as the 2020 runners up.
For the first time in its 17 year history the Corporate Club Australia Golf Day boasted a hole-in-one. Former Deputy Chair of the Australia Day Council of NSW, Bruce Phillips struck a pitching wedge (94m) perfectly when playing the 19th par 3. This additional hole was played in lieu of the 11th which was undergoing works.
Following the round, players enjoyed lunch in the clubhouse which featured a sensational prize presentation hosted by Mark Warren and included Yvonne Weldon and the Governor-General.
Congratulations to the winners
