Corporate Club Australia hosted its annual Golf Day at NSW Golf Club, one of the most spectacular golf courses in Australia and currently ranked as the world's No. 9 golf course outside the United States.
There was a strong turnout from our members and their guests with a full field of players participating in the day, all keen to take out the title and have their names engraved on the unique Corporate Club Australia trophy.
Situated on the scenic coastline at La Perouse, the course produced some of its toughest playing conditions yet and a reminder as to why the course is affectionately referred to as "Windy Wales".
Players tested their golfing skills against the full force of a southerly blowing at 50kms and gusting to an estimated 60kms.
The field's competitive spirit wasn't broken in the tough conditions with many players commenting on how much they enjoyed the challenge as they shared war stories over lunch in the clubhouse following the round.
"It was the best day of my life, I enjoyed the whole experience and the fabulous course."
"I really enjoyed the challenge of the wind."
"The condition of the course was immaculate, hitting the ball was like hitting off carpet."
"It was a great day and a privileged opportunity to play on one of the top ranked golf courses."
